They call it New Year

By Athar Mudasir

They Call it New Year,
When life is Caught by Bear,
The death seems so Near
Sweat flows with Fear.

Crows mock, crickets  knock,
throats are chock, windows are blocked.

still, ye wear the cloak of mock
The bear stand on the clock.

The innocent lambs are slaughtered
Leaders and Saint hail their pride
The brides are widowed
Children struggle for a loaf of bread
School and collages have vanished

It was once blessed land now only blood shed down the street.

son of marry

by athar mudasir

Oh, people of the castle,
why are you vigorously for battles
spreading corruption in the fate of cattle

The world is fetched with riddles and transgression
It leads men only towards oppression

It was the decree before ye
To give the birth to a child without a father
A miracle a sign for all and yet ye doubt
It was the birth of Son of Marry
The light bearer and truthful
The holder of Book

May peace and blessings be upon him.

Why so pride and prejudice

Why so pride and prejudice
These trifling glamour and pride will gloom
When the dark night will bloom
How can you slander while we praised in your muddle
Have you forgotten how you were saved from a riddle
Or
Have you forgotten how we eventually raised from the desert with a kindle of hope
Or
Have you forgotten how we conquered the world with hundred's overs thousands
It is not the power in your bone marrow but the narrow sighted of leaders,
who are anxious about their prejudice
Your tentacles are griping our frame, seems to bridle us
let us remind all; it wasn't sword but the character which raised us for times immemorial.

Mirror, mirror in My Hand

by Athar Mudasir

Mirror, Mirror in My hand
The whole world is bang up with the brand
Morning to evening we hold it, scream it.
We embraced enslavement for its vitality
It says it is guarding our pockets with knives
Children's, young elders all hail it's Gail
Surrounding every corner as it is the Holy grail
Looking world in it and pretending all is what we craft.
Looks as we have been under witchcraft
It gave us wings to fly up the world
Chained and suppressed as we set up against the foul
But what most we receive is anxiety
We fall for deception and yet seek higher perception
I feel the essence of evil in it, as it envisages vanity.

A pebble that knocked the Giant

by Athar Mudasir

The Armies have seized the town
The Great Wall has been crushed and brought Down
The Townhall has been blazed.

There isn't anyone to fight the giant.
The whole garrison looks faint before the giant
The knights, commanders, chiefs all are faint.

Their raise a shout, I will fight the giant with the stone in my hand
Everyone looking at the David laughing,
How can he Fight, he is so tiny.
Look at Goliath.

David had a one slingshot that pierced sound and crushes the Giant
It was the David who brought the Giant down
Slaying his head and knocking the rival down
The people got the throne and courage as the symbol.
Remembering a pebble that knocked the Giant.

Waiting on River Side

By Athar Mudasir

Waiting on Riverside

After a long ride, setting aside of Riverside
Feeling the flow of the river within my heart
How ruthlessly and persistently has torn the mountains
I know it reaches my home backside,
But my curiosity is where it comes from,
I look through the gorge towards the high mountains
I want to cross the river, but its high flow trifles me.

I hired a horse to make travel through the valley
The Horse seems less excited and wants to graze
I look my grace in reaching the peak,
I wonder I had Eagle who will take me in his beak
To reach the peak.

After a long and tidy ride, we have arrived
I found that it is the resilience and forbearance
which melts itself calmly and fashion life!

Oh blessed one: A Prophet's Journey

By Athar Mudasir  The heavens danced on your arrival. Birds viped elephants. Palaces shock and crack. A radiant light descends in the middle...
