sculpture

by athar

How magnificent and gigantic sculpture is this
They say he has been a great man
Worked for your pride and glory
My eyes can't reach its face

Looking from far seeking my freedom from his work
I met people in slums starving for a loaf of bread
The sculpture's shade is what they receive

The hooting owls hail their praise by building more sculpture's
Provide shade to the commoner and starve for a loaf
How magnificent and gigantic sculpture is this.
